Hummingbird Earrings with Ruby in Zoisite and Sterling Silver
The pattern on these Ruby in Zoisite stones drove this design. Most of the stones are green zoisite with a sweet spot of dark pink ruby at each tip. I envisioned a pink flower and hand-saw-cut hummingbirds from sterling silver to complete the 'scene'. I added a botanical pattern to the backs of the bezel settings and sterling silver leaves to the handmade ear wires to complement the theme. Patina'd with highlights polished.

~~~Ruby in Zoisite stones measure 9/16" across and 1 1/4" high.
~~~Measures 2 1/4" from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the dangle.
~~~Each earring weighs approximately 6.8 grams
