Sterling Owl Earrings with Bloodstone Stud Posts

Sterling & Bloodstone | Earrings
These owl earrings are all hand fabricated, by just me, from fine and sterling silver. The stud post gemstone is a deep, inky green bloodstone with hints of red. I've set the stone in a teardrop orientation to suggest a leaf.

The owls are hand saw-cut from a sheet of solid sterling silver. All the pieces and parts of this design are also solid sterling silver. I started with sheet and wire and hand-fabricated the leaf ear wires, bezel cups for the stones, and all the design elements.

Measures 1 3/4" from the stud post to the bottom of the dangle and 2 1/16" from top to bottom.
Width of the dangle is 9/16".
