Ocean Jasper Earrings with Sterling Silver Flower Dangle

Ocean Jasper & Sterling | Earrings
Botanical theme earrings featuring mottled olive green, dark gold, and white bezel set Ocean Jasper stones with a solid sterling silver 3D flower dangle.

~~~The ear wires are 20g sterling silver to which I added a leaf detail.
~~~The earrings measure 2 5/8" long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the fringe and 5/8" wide.
~~~Each earring weighs approximately 7.1 grams

To make these earrings, I started with sheet sterling silver and wire. I made a bezel cup setting for the mirror-image triangle-shaped Ocean Jasper stones and accented it with 'bead' wire along one edge. On the reverse of the bezel cup, I embossed a flower design so these are pretty on the back too, which is especially nice if you have short hair or wear your hair up. I made the flower dangle by first hammering a blob of sterling silver into a form. After cutting out the flower with my saw, I soldered a detail into the center.
