Artisan metalsmith jewelry individually handcrafted by Tampa, Florida silversmith Linda P Smith from sterling silver, copper and glass enamel. Her current collections of rings, earrings and necklaces have bird, flower and organic themes.

Organic Flowers Earrings with Imperial Jasper and Sterling Silver

The beautifully matched pair of Imperial Jasper stones resembled leaves to me. I set the stone dangles in a hand fabricated fine and sterling silver setting and I roller-printed a leaf onto the reverse of each. The sterling silver flower posts are organically shaped and, like flowers in nature, not exactly the same. I first hand drew flower shapes on sheet silver and then hand saw cut the shapes. I gently shaped the flower petals into curves and soldered three tiny sterling silver balls to the center.

The flower post s measure approximately 1/2" wide.
The earrings measure 1 9/16" from the top of the flower post to the bottom of the dangle.
