Artisan metalsmith jewelry individually handcrafted by Tampa, Florida silversmith Linda P Smith from sterling silver, copper and glass enamel. Her current collections of rings, earrings and necklaces have bird, flower and organic themes.

Stichtite Earrings with Handcrafted Sterling Silver Flowers

Stichitite & Sterling | Earrings
Handcrafted dogwood flower earrings with bezel set Stichtite gemstone dangles. To create, I started by melting scraps of sterling silver to form a ball/blob. I hammered the blob into a flower shape mold, soldered it to a backplate of sterling silver, and cut out each flower. After adding a hanging loop and making custom bezels for each gemstone (with pretty patterned backs), I put it all together with sterling silver ear wires and jump rings.

The Stichtite stones in the dangle portion are 3/8" x 5/8".

Earrings measure 1 13/16" from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the dangle and 3/8" wide.
