Purple Agate Necklace, Contemporary Sterling Silver Purple Stone Necklace

Agate & Sterling | Necklace
Beautiful purple striped, highly polished, agate stone cabochon with a setting handmade from sheet sterling and wire. The setting features a decorative beaded wire along the left of the stone to compliment the stripes in the stone. Previously this had been a ring, but through the mysteries of online selling, it struggled to find a forever home. I reimagined it as a necklace by removing the band, cutting open the back, and adding a slide tube for the cord.

The cord is 2mm leather and adjusts in length from 16 1/2" to 19 1/4". In the photos of the necklace being worn, it is at the longest setting in one and the shortest setting in the other. The clasp and extension chain are sterling silver.

Focal measures 13/16" wide and 1 3/4" high.
