OOAK Silversmith Made Earrings in a Flower and Botanical Theme
Solid sterling silver flower stud earrings with botanical textured dangle and leaf overlay. To make these earrings, I start by saw-cutting the flower shape, gently forming it into a 'cup', then soldering tiny sterling bits into the center. For the dangle portion, I added botanical texture to a sheet of sterling silver, cut the dangle shape, then soldered on top a leaf I made from sterling wire and sheet. Patina'd and highlights polished.
~~~The ear posts are 20g sterling silver.
~~~The earrings measure 1 3/4" from the top of the stud to the bottom of the dangle and 1/2" wide.
~~~Measures 1 9/16" from the stud post to the bottom of the dangle.
~~~Each earring weighs approximately 2.7g, and just the dangle weighs 1.6g.
