Dual Stone Turquoise Earrings with Crazy Lace Agate Stud Posts
Contemporary dual stone earrings with Grey Crazy Lace Agate stud posts and Hubei Turquoise accents the dangle portion. Handcrafted, by me, in my Florida studio, from solid sterling silver.
~~~The ear posts are 20 g sterling silver.
~~~Oversize sterling silver and plastic ear nuts included.
~~~The earrings measure 2 7/8" long from the top of the stud post to the bottom of the dangle and 13/16" wide.
~~~Each earring weighs approximately 8.3 grams and just the dangle portion weighs 4.3 grams.
The beautiful patterning on the grey crazy lace agate stones had me thinking clouds. I then chose the turquoise to represent blue skies and accented the turquoise dangle portion with flow bits of sterling silver wire to further represent wind.
The mirror-imaged agate and turquoise stones are set in bezel cup settings that I custom made to their shapes from fine and sterling silver. On the backs of the bezel cups, I've added texture/pattern so they are pretty from the reverse as well if you wear your hair short or up.
