Sterling Silver Egret Bird Earrings with Turquoise Stud Posts

Sterling & Turquoise | Earrings
Cattle Egret earrings inspired by a bold egret I encountered in a parking lot here in Florida (see photos). The create this scene, I started with sheet and wire sterling silver. The bird is hand saw-cut from the sterling. Lots of forming, soldering ad polishing later, these earrings came to life!

The 5/16" x 3/16" turquoise stones in the stud portion are from Kingman, Arizona. Ear posts and nuts are also sterling silver.

Earrings measure 1 13/16" from the top of the stud to the bottom of the dangle and 1 5/8" from the post to the bottom of the dangle. 9/16" wide.
